now , now , now no fighting on this forum!!
             Leave it up the Proffesionals.. Filtre4Pole <catmeow at wanadoo.fr> wrote:le 3/09/2004 15:27, Best Photo à bpics-hkh at cnjnet.com a écrit :

Yes, indeed. But I'm surprised you haven't yet noticed that "Autobahn" (like
*all* Kling Klang Produkte) is one of those plainly coherent albums: subtle
package (listen to the music and look at the sleeve design!!) Pure poetry.
Electro pop and avant-garde on both side (see Kommetenmelodie, Mitternacht)
and then that gentle morning walk - kind of "goodbye acoustics!" - track to
close the album (full of significance, regarding the definite electro
concept that is the rule since then ;-). A great "album" in a coherent
complete package. (not to mention that the 22'40" long title-track is
typically a LP one [=album, not single!]) :-)
Therefore, sorry mate, I still don't see your point, when you lightly argue
"Autobahn is not a great album" (any argument ?) >:-))

> TEE is an excellent example.

Yes, certainly, but just talking *concept*, "Radio-Activity" could be even a
better example ! ;-)

> All the songs belong with each other.

Yes, (like *all* Kling Klang Produkte) see especially sound & music
production...

> They fit together keeping with the theme.

I suppose you mean the themeS(?) because TEE has some independant themes
too. About Autobahn it's pretty much the same thing (on a more "naïve" level
though).

That's debatable. (You know, the sole track Autobahn could have been
produced earlier, too). So...

> the albums that were on that list for the most part are concept albums.

Come off! You mean *some of them* (isn't it?) ;-) As far as I see, it's not
a top100 concept albums anyway !

> Each song should be part of the whole. That's why TEE is so far up on the
list. Man-Machine fits for that reason as well.

Yes, but "The Man-Machine" which is even *more* conceptual is only #92 while
TEE is #6 ! mmhh??? *smile* "coherence and decadence..."

Yep, here we are: at least it must be true for those pitchf**kmedia people !
>:-) *hehehe*
Just one more reason for me to say their top100 can't be taken seriously !!
:-D
*end of funny topic*

Maybe, perhaps, ;-)
