So I ask this friend of mine, when did Kraftwerk play on Russian TV, he 
tells me, it was New Years Eve 1979. Then he stops and really thinks about 
it and says no, it was NYE 1978 leading into 1979, Russian TV had a huge 
schedule, which included all sorts of artists, along with Kraftwerk, Boney M 
etc.
