[KRAFTWERK] Opening Act & Current Status

1) I think the reason why some of us are in shock about the whole
opening up for Radiohead deal is because we have always been used to
Kraftwerk playing alone and not breaking their tradition. And with Radiohead
being the first group to share the bill with our heroes, I'm sure that
doesn't sit well
with some of us either; I'm guessing some of you had a lot higher
expectations
of who Kraftwerk would choose to play with and vice versa.

For me, it's not so much, "Why is Kraftwerk sharing the bill with
Radiohead?".
It's more, "Why are they finally allowing other groups to play with them and
broaden
their audience after ALL THESE YEARS?"

If Kraftwerk starting doing this a long time ago, then the group would
definitely have
a higher place in the music buyer's consciousness. Maybe their status
would've increased.

2) It really sucks not having Florian around, but as long as the group moves
forward, then
it's all good. As long as they don't go in a totally backwards fashion and
start making ridiculous
sounding albums just for the sake of keeping the Kraftwerk name alive and
making money
(*ahem, Black Sabbath*).

The only thing that will be disappointing will be if there is no new record,
and they're still playing
the same set list ten years from now.

But I think some of you have been a little too harsh on our guys.
